I have decided to introduce some recce days for our races starting with The Muntjac 15. If you want to bring a friend who isn't signed up thats fine, the more the merrier! Perfect for anyone who's a little nervous about the route and wants to get some practice and maybe some advice or someone going for the win wanting to store some course knowledge to get an edge on race day. Plan to start off with 2 dates, one on Sunday the 28th of July and another on Sunday the 18th of August. I will limit signups to 10 to keep in managable and see how it goes. We will not be going at any particular pace and will run the whole route together comfortably. If anyone desperately wants to hammer round there message me seperately! If it proves popular I will add more dates if I can. The plan is to do the exact same thing for The Sundowner and any other races that I add to the calendar moving forward. With the Sundowner I will split the race into its two loops to do completed on different days unless anyone really wanted to do the whole thing and I would make an exception! If you guys are interested also ive been toying with the idea of one every couple of months planning a different trail and leading a group run. Could be during the day, maybe some at night and different distances ranging from a 10 miles up to marathon distances. depending on peoples appetite for it will dictate how this evolves.
